Over the last week groups have been hard at work carving pumpkins and today the votes were cast. The counts are in and the Wolf group took first place with 23 votes. A
chilly victory with their ALS ice bucket challenge pumpkin, bravo!
MacLachlan received 16 votes for second place and Sammis came in a close
third with 15 votes.
A big thank to everyone who came to vote and all the groups that
made these awesome pumpkins, you’re all winners 🙂
Tomorrow is the Halloween Stress Busters and we welcome everyone to rock
their halloween duds at 5 pm in the grad lounge. Eat our food and drink
until the taps run dry, before heading out for a safe and fun evening of celebration.
Happy (almost) Halloween

Happy HalloWeek everyone!
As we all know, our annual Chemistry Skits are zooming closer (December 2, 12:45 in B250) and we want as many people to be involved as possible.
To this end, beguiling prizes will be given to the group with the best/funniest skit.
So, drag your labmates and colleagues from their fumehoods and put your heads together for a chance to win big!
Please send an email to the CGSS president by Monday Nov 3rd with your skit idea to be entered into the draw.
Yours in laughter,
Ese

Thank you to everyone who came down for the Mole Day Cupcake-tacular. The cupcakes disappeared in a hurry and were enjoyed by all!
A big thanks to everyone who baked and iced cupcakes and everyone who helped with coffee time!
