Campaign Introduction:
Hey UBC chemistry graduate students! I’ve been part of the CGSS council for the past year as the Chemistry Departmental Rep of the Graduate Student Society. During this time, I learned how much impact we, as UBC grad students, can have. In addition, I was an executive member of the Academic and External Affairs Committee, where we dealt with graduate supervision and funding to mental wellness.
As a CGSS member, I’ve learned how CGSS works and helped organize many events, including the PNE at playland, the Amazing Race, and other COVID-appropriate events!
This year I’d like to take the role of treasurer, and I think I’ll be a good fit for it. I will make sure we use every penny on our budget (wisely ;P) and that you can count on my records.
Most importantly, I’ll keep helping the CGSS council host events and make sure we’ll create some great memories during your grad studies!
