A big thank you is in order to everyone who came out to make the first annual CGSS Brew Off such a success!
A special thanks to all of our brewers: Ben Loosley, Peter Edwards, Peter Christensen, James Grayson, Debbie Le, Scott Ryken, and Thomas Prescott. These 7 people contributed a total of 15 different home brewed beers for us to sample and all of them were wonderful. The final results, though, stand as such:
1st Place: Debbie Le with Second Breakfast
2nd Place: Peter Christensen with Inglorious Plasterd
3rd Place: Ben Loosley with Beets by Ben
We also had Public Choice awards in two categories:
Best Brew: Scott Ryken with Pogo Stick IPA – a wonderful balance of hops
Best Name: Ben Loosley with Beets by Ben
